A shepherd such as this is rare to find.
The Shepherd is good,
But usually He is misunderstood.
Over His flock He keeps care
All their burdens He doth bare,
If one were lost
He would forsake all no matter the cost.
He is the one to seek them out
Although they have a lot of doubt.
He loves them with all His heart,
But the wolf is always ready to shoot with his dart.
The wolf will always be ready to devour
One of those little sheep with his power,
He is foolish and strong
Yet, you can get rid of him with a powerful song.
The darkness is nothing to be afraid of
Because the Shepherd is always watching over you from above.
He has sent His dove
So that we can experience His love.
Because He is thinking of our needs in every way
We need to thank Him everyday.
For all His love He has shown
We must listen and obey what He says from His throne.
We must offer our bodies a living sacrifice
For us He has paid the price,
He died on the cross
Despising the shame; For His sheep He considered not His loss.
